How to re-Use the WE KS-19594-L2 dial unit

  this is how to reuse a WE KS-19594-L2 Dial-In Unit. at times these units are orphaned due to the failure of the Magi-Call unit and need to be re purposed... all you need to do is change out the dial to a 8A dial from a Princess phone and remove the motor assembly. I had to use a 4 Conductor handset cord and a 4 position terminal strip to connect the wires. you should use a 6 conductor cord to include the lamp. also, the lamp needs to be changed to a 12-14 volt lamp to use on the KSU. (10 Volt Lamp Feed.)  this is a great way of re-purposing a part that is orphaned! Now that I know that the unit will accept a regular 8A dial was really a relieve for me because I hate throwing good parts away...
