Afternoon All! Does anyone recognize this item, any help would be appreciated.  Beautiful wooden box with what looks like a brass top and switches.  Appreciate any input, thank you.  Tim

Looks like a part of a Western Electric type 100 key equipment.

I think this is the 3-line selecting key box.

There is actually very little to do with it unless you get the control unit.   Of course you could modify it to switch whatever your heart desires, perhaps in  a custom wiring arrangement.

Does it have any old wires still connected, or are just cut?
