Terry,
I'm about to get to the bottom of this! ;D I used my 88T to test the 88AT Adapter and so far I have found the speaker bad on the 88AT adapter that I got from Everwood. The removeable circuit board is good as it works in the other unit. I'm resoldering some cold joints on the speaker board to see if that helps . Be back when I get mess sorted out.  stub

Terry,
Did you get a chance to look at this? I kinda quit for a while. Does anything look amiss for this unit?  stub

I hadn't seen this post until now Stub. I was on a cruise ship when you posted.

We never used those adapters here. You have a complete 88T phone as well don't you? Do you have the amplifier board out of the 88AT in the above picture? If not, IT IS MISSING!

Terry,
         Bottom left in 1st post!
I tried the working 88T board in the 88AT adapter and no cigar but when I put the 88AT board in the 88T it worked fine , so both boards (amp) are good.
I'll try to get started on this adapter again soon.  stub

I assume that these are line powered like the 880's? Amazing really....

I have never tried my 88 or 88T but I guess I should get brave sometime.

Terry,
I sent everwood his AE speakerphone adapter home . I couldn't fix it. :'(
I found another one on e-bay three days ago and got it for $15 + shipping and guess what ? IT's ALIVE  !!!!!!!!
I finally  got lucky and got one that still worked. 8)   Bulb flashes every 3 to 4 sec. and audio is not as good as the 880's but I can understand it and it does transmit.   stub
