Deutsche Bundespost PrHap 3. "Prüfhandapparat" = Test handset. Made by Elmeg. Settings for pulse/tone dialing (IWV/MFV), polarity test, limited redial function. Metal bar on back serves as shoulder rest. Huge and heavy!
Earlier PrHap issue 1 and 2 were dial buttsets very similar to contemporary WE models and also made by Elmeg. This issue 3 was only made in a small number for field trial. It showed that the cord often failed and was not replaceable in field. Field techs were not supposed to even open their own test sets! I did it though... The final issue 3a which is similar then came more service friendly.

I just received dial card assemblies for my WE phones. They came from Oregon, after it proved impossible to find them in Europe. They're always missing...
The seller made me a very fair offer but postage, tax and service charge (for cashing the import tax)  added up quite a bit.
Anyway, the phones look happier now  8)

To lighten up these cheerless days a little, I'll officially add the Ivory Trommelwähler to the collection:

Very nice collection.  :)
Do you have any photos of them as displayed?

Thanks FABphones  :)
Unfortunately most are in storage and not displayed.
I forgot to create a link to the Trommelwähler discussion: http://www.classicrotaryphones.com/forum/index.php?topic=25825.msg252966#msg252966

Western Electric 20AL candlestick.
Not 100% original inside but not too bad either considering it appeared 1. in Continental Europe and 2. at an affordable price...
