Title: Another ebay find - my first 4H dial.
Post by: Greg G. on April 12, 2011, 05:18:13 PM
Snatched it up with a BIN for $65.  Of course, right after that was another one that went for only $45!

These are cool! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpiWDOnEC9A (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpiWDOnEC9A)

It probably won't help any to tell you that I bought one, with a celluloid face plate, on ebay for about $40 (http://www.classicrotaryphones.com/forum/index.php?topic=3821.0 (http://www.classicrotaryphones.com/forum/index.php?topic=3821.0)).  I also bought a #2 for $40  :)

I always feel that the noisy dial makes my phone calls seem more important.

Isn't it the truth?  The #4 is far and away my favorite dial.  If a dial doesn't make a racket, it's a disappointment. :)
