They both came with the exact same stuff in the background of the pictures as well. How ironic is that!

Terry

Absolutely amazing. Both have my desk in the background :-) But is is the same unit - I bought it from Greg!

Yes, that i the one I bought... The Teletrainer and its case, but no phones.

Dave,

Who made your Teletrainer? Mine is Dukane instead of Sentinel. I'm wondering if that explains the red housing verses the green.

I am not certain. It is over in the Museum, and I am not sure it is marked by manufacturer. I think it is more likely that the colours were specified by Ma Bell, and perhaps the red ones were used by a particular division of Government or for a specific department, perhaps training emergency personnel. This is merely a guess, though. Here in Canada, NT produced special colours for Government and emergency service use (good example the red Norstars and gray multi-line phones, neither of which were standard colours).

It is possible. Mine also was made by Dukane. I set it up this morning with two phones and made a short video (on You-Tube):

I sold that one to Dave. I still have the two phones that came with it.  The green one was matching dates from the early 60s and a red one from 1973 with extra long cord .
