This seems to be a pretty uncommon model with the lighted dial. At a local auction, online bidding, but you would need to pickup or arrange for shipping.

AE 82?

It looks like an AE 80 - where does the AE 82 ID come from?

Thanks
Jack

It's marked 'Type 82 Monophone' on the base.

Jack,
Yes, it is just a AE 80 with the lighted dial.  AE Circular 1905-A , Replacement Parts , pgs. 22 - 23 . That's all I got on this phone.  stub

I never knew there was one - I don't remember seeing it in a catalogue. I'll have to look harder.

I wonder why they needed a code for an AE80 with a lit dial?

The same electro-luminescent panel used in the Starlite so 120 v with current limiting. Fornd a damaged lt grey dial for a type 82 set but it was damaged and I did not save it.If your panel is dim, you might find a brighter one.I threw away 100s of the panels when I rebuilt dials ant they were not needed
