Hey guys, its been a very long time again since my last post

anyway, another offer comes to my inbox but I have no idea what model it is.
it seems that it is a Western Electric possibly a speaker phone?

the louver on the top panel seems to be the speaker while on the lower left seems to be the microphone
am I right or wrong?

Weco355aman

It's a ITT speakerphone.
It requires a external power supply to operate the speaker phone.
I will work as a singleline phone without the power supply.

thanks phil, by the way what voltage does this phone require? any idea?

G-Man

As Phil as stated it is an ITT Speakerphone.

Without a model number we are unable to verify but possibly an ITT K834 Single-Line Handsfree Rotary-Dial Telephone.

I actually have one, its been relatively hacked up though, but it has all the stuff to make it work. I think its mod. 881.

The ITT speakerphone that i have looks like yours. The model number
has been removed off my phone.
The two AC input's are White and Black wires 12-18VAC
the Red and Green same 12-18VAC
The have 2 input's (my guess is to avoid a common mode problem)
I do have some WECO 15-18VAC Plug in transformers $5 Ea + Shipping.

Perhaps it is an 844. DTMF version is 2844.
The transformer part number for the 844/2844 is 181768-01.
The phone should have two four-conductor cords; the round, gray one connects to the transformer:

Cord:               Transformer:
White                 Y
Red                    R
Black                  BK
Green                 GN

I may have the correct transformer, I'll try to check today.

Please verify whether it is an 834, 844 or another model.

Hi,

its an 844 as stamped at the bottom
2 chords are attached both with 4 wires, one has a thicker insulation which I guess is for the power while the other one has a thinner and flat insulation
