Is it possible to let the LINKSYS ATA send 16 kHz when party answers?

The most typical Linksys ata may be the PAP2 but many others are pretty equal, but may it be set up to send the 16kHz billing signal when party answers?

The next would probably be to get a 0.5 sec pulse every 1 minute or so.

dsk,

here are some devices that are able to generate 16 khz pulses to operate a payphone:

CPV Stollmann: Delta-Dial
Gerdes AG: TeleScout
TCC: Paralay l4l/l30i
telco courier scout (avantix)
PeCeCom MLC 2

the successor of my Auerswald is also able to generate 12 or 16 khz pulses with Soft LCR 4.0 software. COMmander Basic.2
COMmander business
COMmander 6000
COMmander 6000R
COMmander 6000RX
COMpact 5010 VoIP
COMpact 5020 VoIP

Another possibility:

SIP-PBX (Asterisk)---> SIP-ISDN Gateway made by Beronet, able to create AOCD informations--->Agfeo AS16 able to convert fee information into 16khz pulses.

Hope that helps,
