I have the WE 51AL desk stand and 554 C subset wired and everything is working properly.
I have the black transmitter wire connected to "BK" on the 2AE dial. I'm wondering if the black wire from my 4 conductor subset cord should also be connected to the dial "BK and to a terminal in the subset.
I found a reference note that says WE 51AL desk stands require only 3 wire subset cords. If that is the case, I will just isolate the black wire spades.
Please let me know if the black wire is required and if it is, where should it be connected in the subset.
