Forestville Mantel Clock

I picked up this Forestville Mantel Clock at a thrift shop while out on our Sunday drive today. It has the same German clockworks as the ZentRa Mantel Clock that I picked up last April.

Very nice with a cool '50s (?) look. Read the history of the Forestville Clock Company, it's interesting.

I believe this one was made around 73 at the Toronto factory with the German Clockworks. The clockworks has a date stamp of 73. My ZentRa clockworks is stamped 64.

 I got the Sessions Clock Company of Forestville Conn mixed up with this clock and the original Forestville Clock Co from the 19th century. The E N Welch clock company was controlled by the Sessions family and E N Welch bought the original Forestville Clock Co when it failed.
