Title: Pink 702B - Missing Gong & Resonator
Post by: SunriseEarth on October 12, 2018, 02:34:21 AM
I just picked up a Pink Princess 702B on eBay.   It was in fairly decent condition in the pics I saw, but they didn't include any interior pics.   The 4 prong plug wasn't wired correctly, so once I rewired and tested it, I noticed that I only heard clacking sound when the phone rang.   So I opened it up and saw the bell and the resonator were missing!   I'm guessing someone wanted to silence the ringer and didn't realize you could just remove the screw at the bottom.   Ugh.

So does anyone have any spare parts?

I contacted the seller to let her know that the phone was missing parts, so I felt it was not represented with full accuracy on her listing.   Personally, I think it's best when sellers list things as "for parts" and price (or negotiate) accordingly.  I requested a partial refund, and she agreed.  I thought that was a fair solution, and I will leave positive feedback.
