I saw a Western Electric Candlestick phone on ebay recently, and it was marked as a model #337.
Now I want to find more information on W.E. # 337, and I can't find a single word about it anywhere.
What are the model numbers for the early Dial Candlestick phones by W.E. ?

The only WE dial candlesticks I'm aware of are the 50AL, 51AL, and 151AL. This should be marked right on the back of the transmitter perch.

I wonder if the 337 is a part number for some other part, or perhaps even a part from a different make of candlestick.

337 is the transmitter's model, stamped on the front tag.

BDM., Bingster;
It appears that it's a 51AL.
Thanks;

#337 was the last update to the solid-back transmitter.
