Doug   ....   As "rdelius" has pointed out, the sets are Ericsson, and made in England.     They were in service with Saskatchewan Telephone, which is the government owned telephone system in the province of Saskatchewan.     They were installed in a rural manual magneto system until everything was eventually cut over to central battery.    The one without the button on the front is probably an N2206.     Here's a link to a British Telephones web site page dealing with the sets :   http://www.britishtelephones.com/ericsson/n2206.htm       A "print screen" photo is below.    Click to enlarge.
Ericsson sets were commonly used by both Saskatchewan Telephone and the Alberta Telephone System at one time.    Ericsson sets are a quite common find at flea and antique markets in both provinces.

Doug, those are great looking phones. Where did you get them?  I live in Alberta which is the province just to the west of the province of Saskatchewan. Both provinces had large rural populations in the fifties and sixties about the time those phones were around. Just for the record,  Saskatoon is a city in Saskatchewan.  Dennis

Wow Doug, you've had some great finds lately.

thanks for all the info. Janet picked them up at a flea Market Sunday. They just needed a wipe down as they were very well cared for. If anyone wants them....feel free to make an offer....Doug
