I was thinking about technology and engineering in general and noticed that there are guys who DON'T want to pass on the knowledge.... Here in Idaho there is an ad running about a electricians seminar and job opertunities  because our educational system in in the trash as it were, how many young people will actually be able to experience a good education when certain engineers and others fail to pass on the knowledge and keep opertunity open to all... and make it a fun job.... what  ever happened to the days when the schools taught life skills and made it a standard practice... with tuition out of control and the lack of good teachers there are those who possess the knowledge, but won't really share it.... and when they die....so does knowledge.... I've talked to people over the years and am amazed at how some guys snap at people when asked about tech related subjects.... someone asks a question and they reply..... it none of your business, or something to that effect... thus discouraging young people from wanting to explore that field of work.... and then the field suffers because it can't fill positions.... holding on to knowledge is bad because then no one knows how to carry on the technology.... how do you feel about this????
