1976 NE 2500D reconditioned to 1994 QSQM2500AX with NE G6 Handset

I picked up this 1976 NE 2500D reconditioned to 1994 QSQM2500AX with NE G6 Handset at a local thrift store today.
By all the stamps on the bottom, it looks like this phone has been reconditioned about five times. The last time in 1994.
