I guess this is an optical illusion as seller said it was like new.

I asked if it was melted and he said no.

I wanted it if it was "wavy" but seller on FB would not ship....Doug

It's the light reflection off of the curviture of the phone. I can see how it looks melted

Apart from this, which in white:

is only slightly less hideous then the red:

Re the wavy 302, maybe ask for additional photos from other angles.

Oh yes definitely the light angle is playing tricks with the camera.. That and a little illegal substance?

And that lobster handset cover is... Ah.... Ugly, Oh sorry,
Its very interesting...   or is the light playing tricks on me eyes 👀.

As it looks the same from two different camera angles I think its melted.

Agreed, it certainly looks like it.

At least the seller isn't asking silly money for it. A $20 phone, probably a replacement shell is all it needs.

Funnier than the lobster is the TN dial on a BTMC 2724 phone ;-)

That ugly lobster thing did cost the Tate Gallery more I believe.

I wanted it for the shell, I thought it was very cool looking.

I can imagine this sitting against one of those old floor radiators and melting into this design. My aunt had them in her house when I was a kid, got burned more than once. Seller will not ship.   :(  ...Doug
