Yeah, Tornado Alley's known worldwide for it's ability to generate so many storms and tornadoes, and often begs the question of why people live there knowing that someday they'll lose everything in a twister, I certainly wouldn't want to live there myself...

thats why I live in Idaho....moved up here in 1994 from Calif. was in the 1989 loma prieta earthquake..... that was it for me.... then the Northridge quake shook us up and I said Enough.....

I've only ever experienced a minor tremor here in the UK, was about 1am and I was awake playing one of the SimCity games on my laptop, when I heard what sounded like an HGV driving down my street, then the house started vibrating for about 30 seconds, think it was only rated as a 2 or 3 level tremor, but it was enough to scare the youknowhwat out of me that night!!!
