As old as that set is, they do seem to pop up rather frequently.  You could take some Brasso to it, and have a very pretty item.  I'm not sure it's supposed to be bent at the transmitter the way it is, though.  Anybody know for sure?

I believe the 1001 is not normally bent like that. 

I have a couple; one of which I got at an estate sale last week-end for $2.00, but they usually go for probably $30 to $50.  I think there were lots of them around.  When I get home I'll check to see.  The bend in that picture does not look like it was part of the design!
