Today I was booking a camping site for a future camping trip. Most of these places are isolated from populated areas, it's a big part of their allure.

In a world where pay phones are disappearing from the landscape, I couldn't help but notice "pay phone" listed under the heading of amenities along with other necessities like ice, Electric hookups and firewood.

Pay phones aren't completely obsolete.......

It is not much of an amenity if it is out of order! Is that a WE or AE?

If its out of order, can pro-phone guests repair it as an activity? That would add value to any trip in my book  :D

This is one of Ron Knappen's (phoneco) Automatic Electric pay phones converted (by phoneco) for 25 cent calls. The Trempeleau Hotel is in the village  next to Galesville, Wisconsin. I stayed there back in 1986.
