Title: More on PEI Microwave
Post by: DavePEI on February 27, 2014, 09:29:06 PM
This is a photo from the 1977 MT&T News Bulletin.

There is an error in the caption - Tea Hill was approximately 5 miles from Charlottetown. The replacement link was 40 miles from Charlottetown.

Roger Meek passed away some years ago - his widow donated some items to the Museum.

Now is that a typo in the caption? "The radio single went from Tea Hill to Fraser's Mountain", shouldn't that be Signal? ;D

I just happen to know one, but unfortunately she lacks time travel abilities, so can't correct that error... ;D
