As I look through those old pics, I see a few common desk sets I remember seeing long ago.
The funny thing, some I did not realize I knew of till I saw it in the room...
The atmosphere is what made it click, seeing one in a real room setting ;)

Great to see the transition of not only the phone but of the TV and the decorative styles through the years.

Abandoned. Photos apparently taken as found many years later.

These, an abandoned hotel in Japan (the phone on image three is a tricky find).

That's where they wrote that song with this chorus.

"Stachybotrys (chartarum) on the wall
That don't bother me at all
Playin' solitaire till dawn
With a deck of fifty-one
Smokin' cigarettes and watchin' Captain Kangaroo
Now don't tell me
I've nothin' to do . . ."

I enjoyed these pictures.  Besides the telephones, it is interesting to see the room decor, old TV sets, etc.  It really takes you back to a different time.

We are overdue a new hotel room with phone photo.

This one dates from the early 1900s.

Great idea FABphones! Really neat to see the phones as well as the other period appliances. A lot more flare than hotel rooms now for sure.

Address is: 23916 Hwy 99, Edmonds, WA 98026

With that Touch-Tone phone, must be from the 80s - an era that seems like yesterday to a senior like me.
