I have an unlocked 1979 rotary GTE payphone that came with the house we bought. I took it all apart, cleaned & lubricated it. It works fine except for the plastic rotary dial gear that has damaged teeth, so is no longer accurately dialing desired numbers. Any tips on finding a replacement dial mechanism? As a last resort I might look into having the plastic gear reverse engineered and 3D printed, but I suspect that could get pretty pricey.

Do you have a model number for the dial? Maybe some pictures to help identify it.
