I picked up this candlestick phone from ebay for pretty cheap.  It wasn't described very well, so I didn't know what I might be getting.  Turns out to be a pretty nice phone for the money.  The mouthpiece is solid brass - unusual shape.  The stick is very heavy, weighing more than most of my other sticks.  I'm anxious to take it apart and see what weighs so much.  The best part is that is has a receiver that is marked "Solid".  Does anyone know how to take this receiver apart so i can replace the rubber cord with a nice cloth cord?  It looks like the end cap might unscrew?  I've seen those Solid receivers go for pretty good money on Ebay.

I figured out how to remove that end cap - it just unscrews.
