First of all that is a great close-up.  It is difficult to tell.  It sure looks like a "5" to me but I can see where it could be a "6" too.  Since the rounded top of the "0" has been cut off flat as well.  The jury is still out on this one.  But being '60 would be easier to explain as a post-manufacture refurb date. :)

Just speculating here, but it indeed might be a "6"?  Do you have another "6" somewhere to compare it to?  Or perhaps it could be sent to The Smithsonian for further analysis? ;)

Sorry, gang... I spent twenty years as a typesetter.  That's a "5."  I was hoping for a 6, but a 6 it ain't.
