WE302 finger dial does not return

You guys are too much fun.  I confess that I call the 302 on my cell just to hear it ring.  I subject all my visitors to the same scenario.  And I also give the dial a few spins when I walk by the phone for the joy of it.  Must be an incurable disease, in which case I best enjoy the ride while I can.  This all started a couple months ago when I saw a 302 at an antique fair.  I didn't get it because the dealer didn't know if it worked and I wanted a working phone.  So I got one at a reasonable price on Ebay. Then I got another one (first sign of illness).  A metal case with a 4h dial may be next on my list.

I'll try adjusting the gongs again to see if I can get them just so.  Thanks for the advice.
