Are the back feet on that 500 round? Big round feet, not later small neoprene round feet.

They are triangular but the outer edge on the back is an arc.  If you could see under the phone you would see the two straight sides.  On 500's both the front and back triangular feet are mounted in the same direction with the arc facing the back of the phone.  Early 500's had leather footpads (not neoprene) that were riveted on except the early prototypes were screwed on.
