Title: Bakelite? or some other plastic repair

I have a wood/candlestick receiver from 1916???
it got damaged in shipment.
There is a crack down one side.
Can someone direct me to the procedure for repairing this.
I have no luck searching???

Could you pop some photos up so we can see how much and what type of damage, which material, and colour match etc.

You may want to try wood glue or wood filler.
