I haven't purchased this phone - just came across it online for sale.

Description: bakelite rotary telephone, does not work, inside has been gutted.

From the pictures it looks like the back MISSING, one light cover on side MISSING. What's missing from looking at the inside picture?

What are all the lights for? Is this a North Electric? Am I close or way off? Could this possibly work - or just have it to look at?

Debbie,

it is a heavily mutilated shell of a North wall phone.  The base, which is completely missing in the pictures, would be the same as on a North "Galion" phone.  I don't think that this thing is worth much, except for the possibly the handset and dial.  I wouldn't pay more that $5 for it.  you will not be able to make a working phone out of it as it is.

Thanks Larry for your input.

The seller is asking $35 for it. Plus $16.95 for shipping.
