Just came across this nice looking Pink AE Starlite. Seller claims it is brand new. Dated 1967. Does look like it could be new. He also states his wife is telling him to get rid all his phones. 600 of them! He has a few other nice looking phones, both AE & WE.

It would be much easier and quicker to get rid of the wife, all one of them ;)

Is this painted? See the blue burn on the handset,....Doug

BTW, this seller has a black Princess for sale.  Those are not easy to find for cheap.

A nice-looking Princess   ( dead link 06-05-21 )
that one, and went for only $35.00.

Seller's description -

"....As a telephone collector, I am downsizing and listing all my telephones.
I have no room since we moved to a smaller home.  My wife says, " They
have got to go."  I managed to collect 600 telephones.  My loss is your gain.
Up for Sale:  VERY RARE PRINCESS TELEPHONE
Black was not a popular Color made in the telephones.  This is a hardwired
(line cord and handset.)  All matching.  This telephone was special order
back then.  I am sure one of you collectors would love to have this
Princess Telephone.  Tested and works beautiful.

THIS IS A CLOSEOUT PRICE!

Please give it a good home.

I saw that almost as soon as it went up. Tried really hard to get it. Seller uncooperative and of no help whatsoever.

I wouldn't expect too much from him with his selling them under duress.   ;D

Hmmm, I think the black Princess will be given a good home.

Doug;
My thoughts exactly. Also blue color in the cradle. Both spots you would expect paint to wear off.
