Title: NOS BLUE 302
Post by: zapper on November 13, 2016, 08:36:25 PM
eBay item number:332031168173
Just sold for $1500.00.  The seller listed it with a starting bid of $75.00.  I offered $800.00 and she replied it was worth more.  After getting her reply I checked the listing and it sold as a Buy It Now.

So, she added a BIN at $1,500 to the auction and since no one put a bid on it starting at $75 to protect it from the BIN, the BIN was available for the offer.

Nice looking phone.

The seller couldn't be more than a few minutes from Dennis.  By all rights, the phone should be his :)

The seller has "hundreds of phone items" to be listed.

Has anyone else found a deal from Katrina? She made a mistake selling the Blue for $1500. Right now she is selling collector/collection phones that are kind of run of the mill. Anyone get a good one?....Doug

Check out her past sold items. There was a NOS Ivory 354 that she listed for $100 BiN. Sold immediately.

These are the "masks" that cover up the black background of typical number cards from that era.

so, based on what the phone sold for, what is the going price for NOS 302's? seems 1500 is a bit high for the phone, but it is a colored set.... how rare are these?

I remember when blue 302's used to bring around $3,000. That was pre-internet.

Based on what I've seen them sell for in the past I think $1,500 was a real good price for this phone.  Especially considering that it does appear to be NOS with the original box and the dial mask, etc.  Perhaps had the seller had it, or left it as an auction instead of the Buy It Now it would have sold much higher.  So the seller didn't think $800 was enough but $1,500 was.....
