500 & a 554 in one day.

I have been wanting to go to a local flea market.I finaly went today I went and looked around I found A nice phone it was a leigh( it was 50 dollars out of my budget ). I had almost given up and a I was walking towards the door and I saw a 554 hanging on the wall. It was realy rough it did not have a cord and it realy needed cleaning up. And I got a new toy for 8 dollars. It was from 10-70. Well we went to a guy we know and he had a 500 for sale I bought it for 6 dollars. It was in alot better shape than the 554 I brought it home and hooked it up and it worked great. The case had a little bit of orange paint on it. I called stub1953 when I got home and he told me to soak it in some palmolive and water and to scrape it off with my thumb nail. It is off now (thanks stub). I will put some pics on here later.
