Now these are the kind of auctions that are fun to watch as they end! I hope the seller was sitting down for the last 5 seconds.

And the winner of Auction Contest #265 is 19and41 who with the 15th entry into the contest offered the winning guess of $1,017.00 giving him his 5th auction contest win. So a big congratulations goes out to 19and41 for another win in the CRPF Auction Contests and for moving up one rung in the Contest Standings.

The phone was won by r***r ( 205 ) who with his second bid of the auction (the first being for $241 about 45 minutes before end time - to test the high bid I would assume) was followed by his snipe placed 7 seconds before end time to beat out two other snipe bidders placing bids within the last 5 seconds of the auction. 3 seconds before the contest ended to be on top of the sniping battle which saw two other bidders place 3 snipes within the last 8 seconds of the auction. When the auction ended, r***r ( 205 ) ended up taking the phone home for $1,054.99. The phone started at $50.00 and slowly worked its way up to $235 over the first 6 days where it stayed until the last 15 seconds. It jumped to $350 with 10 seconds to go, $510 with 5 seconds to go and $1,054.99 when the clock ran out. The auction saw 11 buyers placing 30 bids.

Thanks again to all who played. As always, there is only one way to get on the winner's board or move up a rung - you have to play to win.
