Illinois Bell sign received in the box with my Western Electric 1D2 which came from Chicago. The sign is printed on a plastic backing. The sign measures 6 x 11 inches, and I believe it was made for display in booths.

Along with it in the box came a number of self adhesive Telephone overhead signs, out of service stickers, service manuals, tools, backboard, caps, etc. - 90 some  lbs in all.  Plywood top and bottom, and packing peanuts - so many in fact, that I ended up having to break out a shovel to remove those packed above the phone and put them directly in a garbage bag to try to keep the bulk of them off the floor. What a mess! No problem with the box being large enough. One thing for certain, it was well packed! Guess that is why it cost almost $200 to ship it. But look at everything it came with! :)
