Now that's fancy. I like the mechanical look with the nut in the center. Very nice.

That's what caught my eye! I thought it was an AE dial for a second.

They are missing a cap on the receiver as well.
Unless the receiver element was glued in.
I kinda like the paint job, but to do a simple search for dial center parts would bring up what he needs, for only a few bucks. Then, that would look great

I was thinking the same thing. If he spent another $8.00 or so he would have a much nicer looking phone. Could even leave the retainer black to match the handset cord.
