D1 wont behave

Yes, just reverse the green and yellow handset cord leads on either end and it should work.

I reversed them and still pops. then tried with wire to W removed. niether made a difference.

I will take a photo of tha handset terminals and post it. maybe I'm missing something.

In the photo, the terminals are left to right R (common), BK (transmitter), W (receiver). So all 3 wires are not going to the right place in the phone! I would start by putting the red wire on R inside the handset and on R of the dial. Then yellow to BK on both ends, and green to W in hs and W on dial.

Got it wired this way now. still pops with W connected and disconnected.

Wife needs me to run to the store, but I'll check back in later when I get back.
