I saw this on Ebay and really loved the restoration. I hope the seller can get his moneys worth! I love the way it was restored....

That's not a restoration...perhaps a "renovation."
Note the transmitter mount is a WE 8A or repro WE-style.

It may have originally come from this seller:

Both AE and WE had "Bulldog" type transmitters.... even my AE 21 wall unit has this type.... but the mount, is a WE. the AE type is shorter.   anyway, the phone is nice though... it my not be original, but when you're not able to get the right parts.... you have to substitute.... even mine has a WE receiver... an original AE was not available when I restored the phone in 2011.
