Title: ebay shipping question
Post by: bingster on June 07, 2009, 05:47:25 PM
I need a bit of advice from the regular ebay sellers.   I'm selling a pair of Bose headphones on ebay, and specified that shipping is to the US and Canada only.  I just got a question from an ebayer in Germany who asks if it's okay that his paypal address is in Germany, but the headphones would be shipped to a US address. I'm assuming he's got a friend in the states who will receive them and then ship them to Germany.

My question is this:  If something goes wrong with the transaction, is there a problem rectifying it when the item is being relayed like this?  I've actually received items this way for a friend in Toronto, when sellers won't ship to Canada, but I've never been involved in this as a seller.  Any thoughts?

As long as you have on-line viewable tracking that shows delivery, you're covered. Delivery confirmation added on to priority mail is more than sufficient for this.

It used to be a requirement that you ship to a confirmed Paypal address to be covered, but that was changed about 6 months ago.
