Telephone Trivia Game

The August TCI newsletter had a blurb about the Telephone Trivia Game once sold by Telephone Traditions of America.  I googled it and found a NIB BIN game on ebay, so I bought it.  I'm sorry, but this game is so BORING that it's comical!  My wife and I tried to play it and felt like complete idiots.  The game was obviously designed for career telephony personnel.  Even TCI said that "...the depth and breadth of the questions would most likely only interest those who have worked in or around telephony."  But would it?  If someone came up with a trivia game about my occupation (driving a city bus), I'm pretty sure I would be as equally bored!

Here's a few sample questions:

In the Baudot teletype Code, how many information bits were there?

Where was the first diagnostic center for Electronic Central Office problems?

What type of Pioneer membership applies to the spouse of a deceased member?

AT&T moved most of the staff to what city in New Jersey in the mid 1970s?
The idea that a four-year degree is the only path to worthwhile knowledge is insane.

We have one of these games here at the museum and I must say I totally agree.

The game was not made for the general public.

I do think the board looks cool  :)
