Can anyone help me? I received a belgian kettle telephone as a present. I would love to get it working. My first problem is that the dial and coil return spring is unattached. Is it possible to repair? Can I buy a replacement spare to attach? I am loath to do any other work on the phone until I know about this problem.
many thanks for any help

Welcome to the forum Ian.  We should be able to help you.  If you can post pictures of the phone and the problem areas, that would help greatly.

You could also say, put the kettle on... :D

Sorry, my british humour took over there... :D

Pictures would really help.

I have plenty of spare kettle phones.

Hi, Sorry for delay. Food poisoning!
Images attached. Hope they make some sense.

It would probably worthwhile to contact Steve Hilsz to see if he is willing to repair it.

If there's anything I hate to do it's rewinding dial springs (though lawnmower springs are MUCH worse).
