New forum members are very welcome and encouraged to take a guess. After all, there are no wrong guesses, just one lucky one. No one knows the winning bid on any auction until it ends. However, it is important to get your guess in before someone else grabs your guess.

Listed one day ago in a 7 day auction with no reserve is this interesting Old Rose 302. Interesting in that the phone is desired by collectors but the phone also has two corner cracks. It was listed at $100.00 and one day later, it has one bid. So, what's the selling price going to be when the actions ends? Who can best guess the trade off of having a Old Rose but with corner cracks and a frayed handset cord? This should make for an interesting auction contest.

The seller listed it as an "Rare Beautiful 1953 Rose Western Electric 302 Working Dial Desk Set" with the item condition as "Used" and " - - - " with the auction listing description saying "This is a rare western electric 302 rose that is in great shape. There are 2 cracks by the feet (see pictures) other than that the body is in great shape. I believe the cords are original and the handset one is a bit frayed but still works. Dial works but probably could stand to be cleaned as well as the rest of the phone. From what i can tell this is an all Original 1953 phone that is still in working order. Please look at all pictures and ask all questions before bidding. "

NOTE: we will use a 3% gap rule between guesses to prevent crowding. As such, guess gaps of 6+% can be split. I'll help with these as the auction goes forward and guesses are entered.

It's another chance to move up a rung or to get onto the CRPF -> Contest Standings <- list,

. . . for as twocvbloke said,   ---> "You gotta be in it to win it !!!" ;D "
