That reserve was a lot lower than I would have expected.

The reserve was met somewhere between $500 and $750 - so, we will have a winner in the contest early Thursday morning.

Yeah, that was very low, apparently he did not realize what he had! Putting that reserve on was a waste of money!

So, I'm hearing that the wood phone prices are falling.   What does the forum think?

Manhattan three boxers are not worth nearly as much as ABT versions.

Well, that didn't go as many thought it would. Eight bidders took a shot at the phone but in the end it was a relatively new eBay phone buyer, n***e ( 5 ), who ended up on top and took the phone home for $1,625.00.

The winner of Auction Contest #172 is poplar1, who with the 10th entry into the contest offered the winning guess of $1,500. Congratulations go out to poplar1 for his second win in the CRPF Auction Contests moving him up a rung in the Contest Standings.

Thanks again to all who played. As always, there is only one way to get on the winner's board or move up a rung - you have to play to win.
