I got this phone given to me from a good old friend i was wondering how much it is worth i have included some pictures below thanks for your help

Welcome to the forum.  Your phone looks like a late AT&T (post divestiture) 554, probably from around 1985.  There should be a date and model stamped on the back.  I don't think that it is worth much, not to collectors anyway.

Welcome go03.  As Larry indicated that is a late model 554.  A couple of clues of it's "vintage" is the clear Lucite hook and the modular cord.  Earlier phones had "hard wired" cords as well as the metal hooks.  I've seen phones similar at flea markets, yards sales etc. in the $5 - $15 price range.  I'm sure that if cleaned up a bit it would make a great telephone for everyday use.

Is this your only dial phone? Do you have the bug or is this an isolated incident ???
I have one just like it that was on my kitchen wall for a couple of years and is now going to the phone show this week ;D
