I've seen a lot of telephones for sale, but nothing ever quite like this before...

Now why can't that be a pile of blue 302s!?

....or AUTOVON sets?!!

Beige is ok, not as cool as other colors, but ok.  What I hate is when the "enlarged" picture isn't any bigger!

A local university has just gone VoIP ... there must be a couple of thousand 1980s-1990s phones getting skipped at some point.  :(

Shall have to see if I can find the skip.  ;D

The most phones I've ever seen in one place like that was in Milan, IL(Quad Cities).  They had two pallets with cardboard sides HEAPED full of phones from when Scott Air Force Base upgraded.  They were all WE 564 or 510 type phones, all black, some were the old round button key sets from the 50s.  Had to have been a couple hundred of them there.  Sadly, they didn't have the PBX that went with them.  The best part is they were selling them for $1 a piece.  This was probably 10 years ago now though.  My dad and I dug through on several occasions and got probably 20 or 30 good ones before they decided they were taking up too much space and scrapped them.  I was only 12 or 13 at the time, I distinctly remember digging through the pile and saying "COOL, a gray one!"  ... "oh, it's just a mile of dust."
