I need a replacement handset cord on my black 1953 WE 500 - straight or coiled - doesn't matter. It doesn't have to be specifically 1953, but I want it to at least be from the 50's (nice and fat). Does anybody know where I can get one? (hopefully cheaper than the actual phone)

I'm trying to remember where I sourced my last coiled handset cord from.  It was manufactured by Superior Cable, and was very nice, thick and sturdy.  Let me keep looking...

I have a coiled one from the early 60s.  Its not as fat as the early, but it is round and chunkier than later types.  Its a bit fatter than my 302 cords from the mid-50s, but not as fat as older ones.

Thanks, but I already have a 1960 cord I could use (and probably will).

I specifically wanted something from the 50's, but I guess the 1960 one will do.  :)
