3 Dials and a field from the flea maket

Went to the NC flea market to look for some phones to ring with my "new" 555 switchboard.
Found an ITT & two colorful Stromberg-Carlsons for $38 total:



I like how the ITT's label tells you how many short & long rings to answer to.

Then I found this Signal Corps EE-8-B & talked him down to $45:





The crank turns.
Can I just hook it to another phone & try to ring it?

I would not recommend hooking that field phone to anything without replacing the wires, that looks like a short waiting to happen if it already hasnt :)
