Glad to hear you are back and getting better. I hope the weather of the past few days didn't make it worst.

Enjoy the phone!
Seb.

Only lost one visitor, thankfully - he had to leave the Island Monday morning, so there was nothing we could do to rescue his visit. But hopefully he will be back one day...

Is Salcombe a town, city or area? Or is it actually that bay or inlet? I always heard that a "combe" was an inlet or possibly a valley. The only luck we ever had finding "Biddlecombe" (my last name) was an area on a map of walking trails (so possibly a valley) around Wells England.

terry -

salcombe is a town, about six miles from the sea, on the kingsbridge, or salcombe, estuary - a submerged valley. apparently, charlottetown harbour in p.e.i. is also a submerged valley (ria.)
