I better do a good job on the restoration of my white mushroom phone.

It was a very nicely preserved set with matching component dates with the exception of the connector and possibly the cords.
It could possibly still be a Tenite set.

Doug and others, it is very nice indeed. This is the first time ever I see an Ivory Mushroom phone.

with a date of 6/59, it would be interesting to know if the ivory mushroom was a very late soft plastic model.

another 500u, in light gray, sold for $450 recently. can't remember having seen one in this colour.       ebay link

thanks Jorge and David, really good information. In all my years of collecting I have only found one. It was in tough shape,  now in another collection...Doug

Nice one! How hard is it to find an unrestored phone with the rubber feet, WITHOUT rusty rivets or rust around the feet on the base plate?

Jorge,

I've seen pictures of your red one before; it's a real beauty.  You certainly are a restoration artist!
