Title: Couch Intercom Phone

I just picked this up on ebay for $9.99.... does anyone know anything about this phone? does the TCI library have anything on this phone???

It originally came with a watch case-type receiver, not a G-type handset!

I don't remember seeing anything in the Library.

Paul, Thank you for the update. it looked kind of odd with a newer handset to it... do you know if it will support a dial?

John,

It's an intercom, and certainly wasn't designed to be used on the public network.

However, anything will support a dial - even a cardboard box.

All you need is a mini-network, hookswitch, handset and dial.  Ringer optional.

I've used that method to convert many bakelite magneto sets containing only a hookswitch and handset to dial.

cool....so I can connect it to my ICM circuit in my 1A1 system? I might just be able to do that!
