I don't think landlines will ever go away. Many people have their internet through their landline (like I do). I also don't own a cell phone and never will, and there's lots more people out there like me. 

I agree! That's great to hear that you will never own a stupid cell phone! I am 14, one of the youngest collectors/members here, and I also have never owned one and never plan to! I use my 1961 W.E. 500 daily and my other 500s and phones!

Hmm, what do you do when they simply turn it off without your asking.
You probably won't even know the difference.
This is already planned in some countries.
